The Outdoors show at the Birmingham NEC (National Exhibition Centre) had a fantastic attendance. In excess of 30,000 adventurers went along to the show and Khamsa Bhutan again had a great response from visitors. All sorts of tours to Bhutan were enquired about from the visitors with trekking, festivals, archery and motorcycling being the most popular.

On behalf of Chris & Niki who were in Birmingham and the rest of the team here at Khamsa we would like to thank everyone who came to see us at this years ”Outdoors” event. Particularly the “Smith’s, Batemans and Revels” who all confirmed their bookings at the stand. Yipee !

Khamsa Tours is pushing the boundaries yet again with a fantastic new tour for Archers. The worlds most exclusive Archery based sightseeing tours are now offered to everyone. Archery is the national sport in Bhutan and this trip gives you a real taste of life in Bhutan where Archery is way of life for some and not just a sport. The trip will bring you face to face with local people and gives you an opportunity to play traditional Archery with traditional equipment in the stunning mighty Himalayas. The tour was the brain child of Karma Gayaly CEO of Khamsa, who realised that there was lack of Archery themed tours, and as it is the national sport in Bhutan, seemed logical that holidays to Bhutan with an Archery theme would appeal to many. Archers from all over the world, the USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany and Australia, have enjoyed the fantastic trips. Bhutan and archery seems to be the best kept secret in the travel and sporting world. Groups and teams or individual players are welcome all year round!

After a very successful UK launce at the TIMES DESTINATIONS SHOW, Khamsa Bhutan Tours have decided to take part in the very popular Ordnance Survey OUTDOOR SHOW, again, in the UK at the Birmingham NEC running from March 27th – 29th, over 30,000 visitors are expected for the 3 day event. Khamsa Tours will be the only Bhutan based operator at the show, and will be represented by Chris and Niki Major who are now running UK operations for Karma Galay and the team. Khamsa will be promoting all aspects of touring in Bhutan, from cultural based sightseeing, Trekking, Bird watching and of course festivals to high octane adventure tours such as motorcycle and white water rafting.
